Classic kale stew
The recipe for kale with sausage. This remains the best
Peel the potatoes and cut into pieces. Put the kale in a large pan and place the potatoes on it.
Add some salt and add water until the potatoes are just below. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Allow the kale to shrink in about 10 minutes. Remove the smoked sausages from the packaging and place on the potatoes. Cook gently for about 15 minutes.
Remove the smoked sausages from the pan and keep warm under a lid. Drain the potatoes and kale and collect the cooking liquid.
Mash the potatoes and kale. Add the butter and vinegar and stir well. Add a splash of cooking liquid while stirring.
Warm the stew with stirring for a few minutes. Season to taste with pepper and salt and another dash of vinegar.
Put the stew on plates, cut the smoked sausage into slices and lay on the kale.
