Corn soup with bacon
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, baking bacon (packaged meat products, approx. 140 g), butter, onion (chopped), celery (in bows), potatoes ((slightly crumbly), peeled and diced), chicken stockings, corn kernels ( 300 g), milk, fresh parsley ((bag of 30 g) and finely chopped).
Cut the bacon into strips.
Heat the butter in a soup pot and fry the strips on a low heat until crispy brown.
Spoon the onion, the celery and the potato cubes through and fry for another 3-4 minutes.
Crumble the bouillon tablets above and add 500 ml of water.
Bring to the boil while stirring and let the soup simmer for 15 minutes.
Add the corn kernels and milk to the soup.
Bring the whole back to the boil and let the soup simmer for another 5 minutes.
Season with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
Spoon the soup into four bowls and sprinkle the parsley over it..
