Crab soup (crab chowder)
A tasty recipe. The starter contains the following ingredients: fish, bacon cubes, milk, fish broth, potatoes (diced), crab (a 170 g), worcestershire sauce, kaiserbrötchen, butter, onion (chopped), flour (sifted), thyme and paprika.

Heat the butter in a soup pot and fry the onion with the bacon cubes for 3-5 minutes until the onion is glazed.

Add the flour and stir well through the shortening, let it run for 5 minutes on low heat.

Pour the milk and the stock through the flour mixture, stirring the potato cubes through the soup and bring to the boil again.

Let the soup simmer for 15 minutes.

Scoop the crab into the soup and season with Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt and pepper.

Let the soup warm well.

Pour the soup into hollowed out hard white bread rolls or large bowls, sprinkle some paprika and serve the kaiserbrötchen..
