Vegetarian Dutch dish with chicory, butter, white wine and whipped cream.

Cut the underside of the stalk chicory and cut the chicory in half. Remove the hard core and cut into fine strips.

Heat the butter in the pan. Smother the chicory for approx. 10 min. Without letting it turn color, stirring occasionally.

Stir in the white wine and the whipped cream. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
