White rice with sherry and pine nuts


A tasty Spanish recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: poultry, pine nuts (65 g), onion, garlic, olive oil, chicken stocklets, dry sherry, white rice (not quick cooking) and parsley.

Directions

  1. Sprinkle pine nuts in a dry frying pan with golden shake. Pull pine nuts on plate and allow to cool. Peel and chop onion and garlic.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan and fry onion and garlic in a low heat for about 3 minutes. Add bouillon tablets, 9 dl water and sherry and bring to the boil. Stir in the rice and cook for approx. 30 minutes until the moisture evaporates and rice is soft, shovel regularly. In between, finely chop parsley. Mix pine nuts and parsley with rice.
