Directions

  1. Cut the steak into cubes and sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
  2. Peel the shallots and cut them.
  3. Heat the butter and fry the steak cubes around brown in 2 minutes.
  4. Remove them from the pan and keep them warm.
  5. Fry the shallots for 2 minutes in the remaining shortening.
  6. Add the red wine and cooking cream and leave to reduce the sauce thickness in 2 minutes.
  7. Add the forest fruit jam and add salt to taste.
  8. Warm the meat in the sauce.
  9. Sprinkle the dish with parsley.
