Crunchy apple-nut cake
A tasty recipe. The dessert contains the following ingredients: puff pastry (for savory pie, chilled), Elstar apples, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon powder, orange marmalade and pecans (coarsely chopped).

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Place the dough on the baking sheet. Peel 2 apples, grate them coarsely and mix them with 1/2 tsp lemon juice. Spread the grated apple evenly over the dough.

Peel the other apples, remove the cores and cut the apple slices into thin slices. Mix them with the rest of the lemon juice.

Lay the apple pieces from the outside to the inside overlapping on the grated apple. Stir the sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle the cake with the sugar.

Put the baking sheet in the middle of the oven and bake the cake in about 20 minutes until golden brown and done.

In a saucepan on low heat, stir the marmalade with 1 tbsp water. Spread the marmalade over the still warm cake with a brush. Sprinkle the pecans and let the cake cool down.
