Chop the nuts coarsely.

Cut the apricots small.

Puree the dates with orange zest and orange juice in the food processor.

Transfer to a bowl and mix in oatmeal, nuts and apricot pieces.

Express this mixture on a piece of baking paper to form a rectangle measuring 15 x 10 cm and 2 cm high.

Cut the rectangle in half lengthwise and cut the two pieces into six strips each.

Allow the bars to dry for four hours and then pack them individually in plastic wrap.
