Dutch farmer salad with garlic croutons

Preheat the oven to 200ºC. Mix the olive oil with the garlic and a pinch of salt. Add the bread and scoop well. Divide the bread cubes over the baking sheet and bake in the oven in about 15 minutes until crispy. Spoon halfway.

Meanwhile, bake the bacon in a dry, hot frying pan. Remove the lettuce leaves, wash them well and tear into large pieces. Put the lettuce on a scale.

Beat a dressing of the mayonnaise, the lemon juice and a dash of water. Season with salt and pepper. Divide the garlic croutons and the crispy breakfast bacon over the salad.

Scrape the old cheese into flinters, spread over the Dutch farmer salad and serve immediately.
