English Cake
A nice English recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: butter (at room temperature extra to grease), white caster sugar, eggs (at room temperature, beaten), flour, blood oranges (scrubbed), baking powder, whipped cream (250 ml) and icing sugar.

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Beat the butter and caster sugar lightly for about 4 minutes. Add the eggs little by little, bit by bit. Go and separate the mixture, then add something flour. Grate the orange skin of 1 orange and squeeze out the fruit.

Sift the baking powder with the flour and add to the butter mixture. Fold with the grater airy through the batter. Put the batter in the butter greased form and put in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes. Allow to cool for 1 hour.

Halve the cake horizontally. Grate the orange zest of the second orange. Beat the whipped cream with the icing sugar until stiff. Stir in the grater and 3 tbsp juice. Divide half of the whipped cream over the cake base. Cover with the other cake half. Brush with the remaining cream. Peel the white of the orange with a sharp knife. Cut the fruit into thin slices and spread over the whipped cream.
