Gelding buttermilk dish with bacon
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, potatoes (peeled and in pieces), smoked bacon strips, buttermilk, cornstarch, cabbage lettuce (crops), spring onions (3 pieces) and in rings).

Boil the potatoes in a bottom of water with salt with the lid on the pan in 20 minutes.

Fry the bacon in a dry frying pan with non-stick coating until crisp.

Pour out most bacon fat (which is not used).

Stir 2 tbsp buttermilk through the cornstarch and pour the corn mixture through the rest of the buttermilk.

Pour the buttermilk with the bacon and bring it to the boil while stirring.

Let it cook through until the sauce thickens.

Season with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.

Put the lettuce in a bowl and sprinkle the rings of spring onions.

Drain the potatoes and serve with the buttermilk sauce with bacon and the lettuce..
