Ingredients
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 160 ° C. Grind the almonds with the sugar, vanilla sugar and a good pinch of salt in a food processor.
-
Cut the orange with zest in four and remove the seeds. Add the orange quarters to the almonds and finely grind.
-
Add the butter and mix through. Put the eggs together, and finally the flour is mixed until everything is well and lightly mixed.
-
Put the cake batter in the cake tin. Shake gently with the shape to avoid large bubbles and bake the cake in the oven for about 50 minutes (check with a skewer in the middle of the mold). Allow to cool and remove from the mold. Put the cake on a grid or dish.
-
Stir in the icing sugar with the orange juice (or liqueur) to a liquid, smooth glaze. Pour the glaze over the cake and let it harden. Sprinkle with the orange grater.
