Goulash with rice and broccoli
Stewed meat dish with broccoli and basmati rice.

Chop the onion and finely chop the garlic. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion and garlic for 5 minutes on low heat.

Meanwhile cut the meat into cubes of 1 x 1 cm. Add the meat, caraway seed, paprika, pepper and salt and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the bouillon tablet and boiling water and bring to the boil.

Turn the heat down and simmer for 2 hours with the lid slanted on the pan. Stir occasionally.

Peel the potatoes and cut into 2 x 2 cm cubes. Cut the pepper and tomato into pieces.

Add the potato with the pepper and tomato to the meat. Spoon and cook in 30 minutes with the lid slanted on the pan.

Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package.

Divide the broccoli into florets.

Bring a pot of water to the boil and cook the broccoli in 5 minutes until al dente.

Meanwhile, grate the yellow skin of the lemon and halve the fruit.

Cut 1 half into parts.

Drain the broccoli and pour in the lemon zest.

Divide the rice, goulash and broccoli over 4 plates and serve with the lemon slices.
