Cut the butter into cubes. Beat the egg.

In a food processor mix the flour, caster sugar, butter, half of the egg and the salt quickly into a cohesive dough.

Wrap the dough ball in plastic wrap and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 175 ° C.

Peel the apples and remove the core. Cut the apples into thin slices and mix with the semolina, the biscuits, raisins and the sugar.

Roll out of the dough on a floured surface ⅔ of the dough into a round piece of approx. 26 cm diameter. Grease the spring form and cover with the dough.

Cut the crust of the bread and cut into small cubes. Divide with the semolina over the bottom. Spoon the apple mixture into the pie dish.
