Grandma's lemon rice pudding
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: raisins, dessert rice, lemons, sugar, vanilla sugar, milk and vanilla custard.

Put the raisins in a bowl with lukewarm water. In a pan with a thick bottom, bring the rice to the boil with 1 liter of water. Let it simmer for 15 minutes while stirring regularly. Bone 1 lemon clean and grate off the yellow skin. Press out both lemons. Drain the raisins.

Stir in the lemon juice, the lemon zest, sugar, 1 bag of vanilla sugar and the raisins in the rice. Rinse the pudding mold and pour in the rice mixture. Allow the pudding to cool and set in the refrigerator for at least one night.

Stir the other bag of vanilla sugar and the milk through the custard before serving. Serve this sauce with the pudding.
