Hearty lentil soup


A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, lentils, onion, leeks, solid potatoes, rosemary, beef bratwurst (skimmed), garlic, olive oil, herb stock tablets, (sea) salt and (freshly ground) pepper.

Directions

  1. Wash lentils in sieve, remove any stones.
  2. Peel onion and finely chop.
  3. Clean the leek and cut into thick rings.
  4. Peel potatoes and cut into cubes.
  5. Rosemary from sprig rises and finely chop.
  6. Grease sausages with a fork a few times to prevent cracking.
  7. Slice garlic and cut into slices.
  8. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in (soup) pan.
  9. Season the onion and garlic gently for about 5 minutes.
  10. Add leek, potato cubes, garlic, lentils, sausage and rosemary.
  11. Top the bouillon tablets on top and add 1 1/4 liters of boiling water.
  12. Bring the soup back to the boil.
  13. Place the lid on the pan and let the soup simmer for at least 30 minutes on low heat until all the ingredients are tender.
  14. Take sausages from the pan, cut them into slices and divide them over four plates.
  15. Season the soup with salt and pepper and create in plates.
  16. Drizzle remaining oil over it..
