Directions

  1. Peel the potatoes and wash them.
  2. Bring them in a pan with the water and salt together with the garlic to the boil.
  3. Peel the apples, cut into quarters and remove the cores.
  4. When the potatoes have boiled for twenty minutes, put the apples on top and let everything continue cooking for ten minutes.
  5. Bake the bacon cubes.
  6. Clean the onions, cut into rings and add them to the bacon.
  7. Fry the bacon and onions until the onions are golden yellow.
  8. Drain the potatoes and apples.
  9. Catch the cooking liquid and keep it.
  10. Stamp the potatoes and apples together.
  11. Pour a dash of the cooking liquid until it is smooth.
  12. Season everything with a dash of vinegar, salt, pepper and the butter.
  13. Grease 2 cups per person with olive oil and cover the inside with slices of bacon.
  14. Let the bacon hang over the edges.
  15. Put the stew in here and fold the bacon over it and fold them closed.
  16. Press well.
  17. Remove the packages from the cups.
  18. Fry them gently in a frying pan until they are nicely browned on all sides.
  19. Divide the packets over the plates and place the cubes of bacon with the onion rings on top.
