In olive oil braised endive with pine nuts

Heat the oil on a low setting and gently fry the garlic. Add the chilli pepper or pepper.

Cut the endive in quarter lengthwise. Remove the outer leaves if necessary. Place the endive on the cutting edge in the pan and sprinkle with a little salt. Leave the lid on the pan to a low setting.

After about 3 minutes, scoop and let it simmer for a few more minutes.

Transfer the endive to a bowl and pour the garlic oil over it. Sprinkle with the pine nuts.

Delicious with beef buffaloes and cooked potatoes.
