Israeli egg dish


Egg dish with onion, red pepper, paprika, tomato cubes and couscous.

Directions

  1. Cut the onion into rings. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion in 5 min. Golden brown.
  2. Meanwhile cut the stalk of the red pepper. Halve the pepper in the length and remove the seed lists with a sharp knife.
  3. Cut the flesh into thin strips. Clean the peppers and cut into strips. Add the pepper with the paprika and cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Add the tomato cubes and cook with the lid on the pan for 10 minutes on low heat. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. In the meantime, prepare the couscous according to the instructions on the packaging.
  6. Halve the tomatoes and add to the vegetable sauce. Scoop and break the eggs over the pan.
  7. Put the lid on the pan and let the eggs solidify in 5 minutes. Serve with the couscous.
