Bite or treat in the form of a ladybug made from cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and black olives.

Directions

  1. Cut the mozzarella into slices of ½ inch thick and place them on a large, flat dish. Place a large basil leaf on each slice.
  2. Halve the tomatoes and cut them in half on the round side. Place half a tomato on each leaf of basil with the convex side up.
  3. Push the sides out slightly on both sides of the notch. These are the wings of the ladybug.
  4. Halve the olives in width and cut 2 olives into tiny pieces.
  5. Make the head of the ladybug from each half of the olive by attaching it to the tomato at the front, so on the other side of the wings.
  6. Make the dots of the ladybug by dividing a few pieces of olive on each tomato.
