Letter cookies with colored sprinkles
Homemade cookies with glaze and colored sprinkles.
Put the butter, sugar and flour in the food processor and mix into dough crumbs.
Remove the crumbs from the bowl and knead briefly into a cohesive dough ball. Pack in cling film and let the dough rest for 60 minutes in the refrigerator.
Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Sprinkle the worktop with some flour and roll out the dough with the rolling pin into parts of 3-4 mm thick.
Put letters out of the dough with the protrusions.
Knead the leftover dough into a ball and put it back in the fridge wrapped in foil.
Place the cookies with a few centimeters in between on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Bake in the oven for about 8 minutes. Allow to cool. Repeat with the rest of the dough.
Let the glaze soften by placing it in a bowl of hot water for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, place the colored hail in a bowl or deep plate.
Remove the bag of glaze from the water and knead (beware, warm!). The glaze is now soft.
Cut a small corner of the bag. Squeeze the white glaze over the biscuits and dip them with the glazed side in the sprinkles. Leave to dry for 25 minutes.
