Directions

  1. Put the butter, sugar and flour in the food processor and mix into dough crumbs.
  2. Remove the crumbs from the bowl and knead briefly into a cohesive dough ball. Pack in cling film and let the dough rest for 60 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Sprinkle the worktop with some flour and roll out the dough with the rolling pin into parts of 3-4 mm thick.
  4. Put letters out of the dough with the protrusions.
  5. Knead the leftover dough into a ball and put it back in the fridge wrapped in foil.
  6. Place the cookies with a few centimeters in between on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 8 minutes. Allow to cool. Repeat with the rest of the dough.
  8. Let the glaze soften by placing it in a bowl of hot water for 10 minutes.
  9. Meanwhile, place the colored hail in a bowl or deep plate.
  10. Remove the bag of glaze from the water and knead (beware, warm!). The glaze is now soft.
  11. Cut a small corner of the bag. Squeeze the white glaze over the biscuits and dip them with the glazed side in the sprinkles. Leave to dry for 25 minutes.
