Directions

  1. Let 3 sheets of gelatin soak in water. Grease the brownie mold and cover with baking paper.
  2. Bring 1/3 sugar with 1/3 of water in a saucepan to the boil.
  3. Squeeze the gelatine and add to the sugar water. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and add a pinch of salt, 1½ tsp vanilla extract and pour the mixture into a bowl.
  5. Mix with a hand mixer for about 5 minutes at the highest setting until the mixture has doubled in volume.
  6. Add 10 drops of blue dye and 5 drops of red dye and mix until everything is mixed well.
  7. Spoon the mixture into the brownie form and drop another 10 drops of blue dye over the mixture.
  8. Make circular movements with a skewer through the mixture to create a marbled pattern.
  9. Repeat steps 1 through 6 again and scoop the layers on top of each other in the brownie shape. Add 8 drops of yellow color to the second layer of marshmallow without marble.
  10. The last layer is - even without marble, colored with 15 drops of red dye so that it turns pale pink.
  11. Allow to cool for 2 hours in the refrigerator. Remove the marshmallow from the mold and sprinkle with icing sugar. Sprinkle icing sugar on the knife and cut into 24 cubes.
