Grate the ginger.

Peel the apples, remove the cores and cut the apples into pieces.

Peel the mango with a peeler and cut the flesh into slices of the kernel.

Cut the slices into cubes.

Spoon the apple cubes and mango cubes in a pan with the ginger and cardamom.

Pour in the apple juice and bring to the boil.

Boil the fruit gently in ten to fifteen minutes.

Stir everything into a coarse pot and allow to cool.

Spoon the mashed potatoes into bowls and insert a cinnamon stick.
