Ingredients
- 150 gram butter
- 275 gram flour
- 275 gram self raising flour
- Flour
- 50 gram sugar
- 2 egg yolk
- 30 milliliters milk
- 30 milliliters coffee cream
- Powdered sugar
- 500 gram Apple for the mincem
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice for the mincem
- 100 gram raisins for the mincem
- 250 gram sukade cube for the mincem
- 15 gram oranjesnipper for the mincem
- 50 gram dried apricots for the mincem
- 50 gram Brown sugar for the mincem
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder for the mincem
- 0.25 teaspoon clove powder for the mincem
- 0.25 teaspoon ginger powder (djahé) for the mincem
- Dash rum for the mincem
- Dash brandy for the mincem

Rub the butter flour and sugar into a crumbly dough. Add 1 egg yolk and 2 tablespoons cold water and knead into a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and leave to rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Mix all ingredients for the mincem.

Roll out the dough on a floured sheet. Cut rounds of 2/3 of the dough and cover the cavities of the baking tin.

Fill the dough trays with the mincemeat. Cut or stick the rest of the dough into stars or circles. If necessary, insert another star or round and place them on the mincemeat. Press the edges well.

Mix the remaining egg yolk with the milk and brush the top of the dough with it.

Bake the minced pies in the oven in 20-25 minutes until golden brown and done. Take a late cooling from the oven. Sprinkle before serving with icing sugar.
