Ingredients
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Cut the slices of puff pastry in half. Place on a griddle covered with parchment paper, pierce with a fork and put the oven rack on (this prevents the slices from rising too much). Bake for about 10 minutes in the middle of the oven. Allow to cool.
-
Bring the milk to the boil, but keep 4 tbsp separate. Mix the custard powder, 2 tsp sugar and 4 tbsp milk to a smooth mass. Add to the boiling milk while stirring. Cook on low heat for 2 minutes with stirring. Allow to cool for 30 minutes.
-
Halve 4 strawberries and keep separate. Remove the crowns from the rest of the strawberries and cut into pieces. Mix the syrup with the icing sugar, add 1-2 tl of water if necessary. Brush 4 puff pastry halves with the glaze. Beat the cream with 2 tbsp sugar until stiff. Divide the custard, strawberries and whipped cream over the 4 unglazed puff pastry halves. Cover with glazed halves. Garnish with half the strawberries.
