Directions

  1. Wash the cranberries.
  2. Peel the pears and cut them in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove the clock houses.
  4. Rub the pears with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  5. Bring 300 ml of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  6. Dissolve the sugar in it.
  7. Put the cranberries in the pan and cook them in about 10 minutes until done.
  8. Scoop out 12 nice whole cranberries from the pan. These are used as a garnish.
  9. Stir the crème de cassis through the cranberry sauce.
  10. Place the pear halves, with the convex side up, on the plates.
  11. Put a scoop of ice cream next to it.
  12. Spoon the cranberry sauce over and around the pear.
  13. Garnish the ice cream with 3 cranberries and a green leaf.
