Ingredients
Directions
-
For the custard, mix the custard powder in a large bowl with half the sugar and 3 tbsp cold milk. Bring the rest of the milk to the boil. Mix the boiling milk with the custard mixture and stir with a whisk. Pour the custard back into the pan and let it simmer for 3 minutes on low heat. Let cool for 30 minutes and mix occasionally with a whisk so that no skin comes up.
-
Beat the cream with the rest of the sugar. Cover the bottom of the jars or glasses with some cake. Drizzle with a little whiskey and coffee. Spoon some custard, then whipped cream, then some cake, then whiskey and finally a little coffee. Repeat until all ingredients are gone. Put everything in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
-
Remove the trifles from the refrigerator and sprinkle with the mocha beans.
