A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: egg, milk, bread (without crust and in pieces), apple (grated), banana (pâté), raisins, brown sugar, orange (squeezed) and butter.

Directions

  1. Beat the egg with the milk and pour over the bread. Spoon the apple, banana, raisins, brown sugar and the orange juice and knead everything by hand (or in the food processor) into a firm whole.Heat a frying pan over medium heat and let it melt half of the butter. Put the bread batter in the pan. Bake the batter for 10-15 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and the top is solidified. Let the poffert slide out of the pan onto a large lid. Melt the rest of the butter in the pan and let the cake with the unbaked side slide down into the pan. Bake for 10 minutes until this side is cooked and brown. Serve immediately. Tasty with butter and brown sugar about it! .
  2. Marjan: 'Poffert is so heavy that you have enough at one point. Do not forget to put the butter and sugar over it if the poffert is still warm. Then you get a nice melted layer, so delicious! ' .
