Mojito with ginger and jalapeño
Spicy cocktail recipe with lime, rum, mint, sparkling mineral water and this time with ginger and jalapeño pepper.

Put the sugar together with the water in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Remove the sugar syrup from the heat and add the slices of ginger and pepper. Allow to cool completely in 1 hour.

Press out 2 limes and cut the third into segments. Divide the juice and the parts over the glasses.

Divide the mint leaves over the glasses and stamp them with a pestle so that the flavors are released well.

Cut the ginger into pieces and press them over the glasses with a garlic press. Put a tablespoon of ginger-jalapeños syrup in each glass.

Divide the rum and the mineral water over the glasses and fill it with ice cubes. Serve with the pestle.
