Vanilla figs on brandy
A tasty Dutch recipe. The drink with alcohol contains the following ingredients: valence figs (with vanilla), granulated sugar, anise stars and brandy (liquorice).

Wash the preserving jar well.

Put the figs with the sugar and anise stars in the pot and pour the brandy on them. Close the pot and leave it in a dark place for at least 6 weeks. Shake the pot regularly.

Serve the figs in glasses with a cocktail stick to make them easy to eat. Serve them with cinnamon ice cream, with steak or as a sweet surprise with a piece of old farmhouse cheese.
