Directions

  1. Cut the apple into quarters and cut out the cores. Brush the slices of bread thinly with apple syrup. Spread over two slices of rocket and arrange over slices of apple and slices of goat's cheese. Place the other slices down with the apple syrup side down and press.
  2. Brush the outside of the sandwiches thinly with butter. Bake the sandwiches in the sandwich maker in 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crunchy.
