Muscat salad with ham


A tasty Dutch recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, solid potatoes ((500 g), peeled and in small cubes), peas (a 200 g, chilled), mayonnaise, yogurt, spring onion ((a 3 pieces), in rings), lemon (scrubbed), eggs (hard-boiled and cut into large pieces), capers (jar 100 g), roast ham (pack ca.125 g) and chicory.

Directions

  1. Cook the potato cubes with the peas and salt in 5-7 minutes until al dente.
  2. Rinse them cold and let them drain.
  3. Stir in the mayonnaise with the yogurt and the spring onions.
  4. Grate the zest of the lemon and then press it out.
  5. Then first add the lemon zest and then the juice of the lemon.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Spoon the potato cubes, peas, eggs and capers through the mayonnaise sauce.
  8. Heat the grill pan.
  9. Grill the ham slices until they have brown stripes on both sides.
  10. Put the slices each on a plate.
  11. Cover them with a firm leaf of chicory.
  12. Put the muscat salad in the chicory leaves and serve immediately..
