Mustard turkey with stewed cucumber


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, potatoes (table (800 g)), cucumbers, olive oil, orange (squeezed), turkey breast (about 400 g), curry powder, mustard, fresh coriander ((15 g) and finely chopped).

Directions

  1. Place the potatoes in a steam basket, sprinkle with salt and place in a pan over a layer of boiling water.
  2. Cover with lid on pan until about 15 minutes.
  3. Peel cucumbers, halve in length and cut into thick slices of approx.
  4. 1 cm.
  5. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in deep pan and fry cucumber for 2 minutes with salt and pepper.
  6. Add orange juice and cook with lid on pan for 10 minutes.
  7. Spread the turkey with salt, pepper and curry powder and cover with a total of 1 1/2 tbsp mustard.
  8. Fry 2 tbsp oil in frying pan and brown turkey fillet on both sides over low heat until browned and cooked.
  9. Add cucumber moisture to turkey, stir in remaining mustard and simmer for 2 minutes.
  10. Mix cilantro with cucumber.
  11. To create 4 plates, add turkey.
  12. Potatoes by making mustard gravy in frying pan and distribute on plates..
