Old-fashioned lettuce
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: eggs, shallots, parsley, cabbage lettuce, white wine vinegar, mustard, sugar and sunflower oil.

Eggs in 7-8 min.

Hard cooking.

Rinse and peel under cold water.

Cut chilled eggs into pieces.

In the meantime, shelling and shaving shallots.

Parsley or cut parsley.

Loosen leaf lettuce and possibly tear out thick veins.

Slitting large lettuce leaves into smaller pieces (do not cut, lettuce will be faster).

Wash in a container with plenty of water, shake well and dab dry in a clean tea towel or tumble dry in a salad spinner.

Grease vinegar, mustard and pinch of sugar in bowl.

Add whisk oil until light-tied vinaigrette is added.

Season with salt and pepper.

Stir-in shreds.

Put the lettuce in a bowl, pour the vinaigrette over it and skip it loosely (or shake hands).

Sprinkle parsley over it and garnish with egg wedges..
