Ingredients
Directions
-
Clean the oranges. Place the oranges in a thick-bottomed pan.
-
Pour boiling water over until they are completely covered and put the lid on the pan. Cook over low heat for 90 minutes until they are completely soft.
-
Drain the moisture and allow the oranges to cool slightly. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Grind the almonds in the food processor.
-
While the machine is running, add eggs one at a time. Add the sugar, the baking powder and a pinch of salt and mix.
-
Add the oranges to the batter in the food processor until a smooth batter is created.
-
Line the bottom of the spring form with baking paper and scoop the batter into it. Place in the middle of the oven and bake the cake in approx. 50 min. Until golden brown and done.
-
Check regularly that the cake is not too dark. If the color goes too fast, cover the top loosely with a piece of aluminum foil.
-
Take the cake out of the oven and let cool in the spring form (that prevents the cake from crumbling).
