Pasta carbonara with broad beans and ham

A tasty Italian recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, penne rigate (pasta, bag 500 g), broad beans (fine (a 300 g, frozen)), oil, onions (coarsely chopped), mix for pasta carbonara (sauce, 65 g), milk, shoulder ham (thick slice (a 160 g), into pieces), cherry tomatoes ((250 g) and halved).

Directions

  1. Cook the penne according to the instructions on the package. Bring a layer of water to the boil. Add the broad beans. Cook for 3 minutes and drain.
  2. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan and fry the onions for 5 min. Add the mix for pasta carbonara and the milk and bring to the boil while stirring. Add the broad beans and the ham and cook gently for 2-3 minutes. Finally add the cherry tomatoes and season with pepper. Divide the penne over 4 deep plates and scoop the carbonara sauce on it.
