Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200ºC. Grind the apricots with the nuts, orange zest and half of the beaten egg in the food processor until smooth. Prepare a long roll on a flowered work board.
  2. Place the slices of puff pastry side by side on a baking tray covered with parchment paper and press the edges well. Put the roll on it and fold the dough around it.
  3. Moisten the edges with some water and press well. Tilt the roll so that the seam is down and form a letter.
  4. Brush the letter with the rest of the egg and decorate with a few notes.
  5. Bake the letter in the oven for about 30 minutes.
  6. Let the pastry letter on the baking paper cool down to lukewarm before it is eaten.
