Pour the split peas into a sieve and rinse them off.

Bring 1.5 liters of water to the boil. Cook the split peas that do not need to be soaked in about 40 minutes. After 10 minutes, add the cubes of celeriac and the whole pork chops and after 30 minutes the leeks.

When all the vegetables have been cooked stir the bouillon tablets and the fresh herbs through the soup.

Cut the cooked pork chops into pieces. Season the soup with salt and pepper.
