Roast the pine nuts in a dry, hot frying pan. Pour boiling water over the peas and let stand for about 2 minutes. Drain and rinse cold water.

Grind the peas with 2/3 of pine nuts, goat cheese, fresh mint and parsley in a food processor to a coarse spread.

Stir in the orange zest and 1 tablespoon of oil and season the spread with (sea) salt and pepper.

Cut each slice of bread into 3 bars. Heat the rest of the oil in a frying pan and fry the bread rolls until golden brown.

Drain on kitchen paper and sprinkle the bread lightly with salt.

Spread a spoonful spread over the bread soldiers and sprinkle with the rest of the pine nuts and pepper.
