Penne with ham and stuffed vegetables
A real everyone's friend, this pasta. With ham, leek, broccoli and a homemade cheese sauce.

Bring a large pot of water to the boil for the pasta.

Melt the butter in the soup pot and then add the flour. Bake for 3 minutes while stirring until the mixture starts to color light brown (roux).

Add the milk bit by bit, bring to the boil and cook in 3 min. Stirring with a whisk until a thick sauce.

Add the nutmeg, pepper and possibly some salt.

When the water in the pan is boiling, add the pasta and any salt and cook the pasta in 7 minutes until al dente.

Add the leeks in the last minute. Meanwhile, cut the ham into strips.

To make the 'broccoli list' softer, put it in a colander and pour the pasta and leek on top of it.

Scoop the pasta, leek, ham, broccoli rice and grated cheese through the sauce and warm for a while. Serve immediately.
