Philly cheese steak sandwich
A recipe from Philadelphia, a cheese steak sandwich with green peppers, onion, cheddar cheese and roast beef. Ideal for an extensive lunch.

Preheat the oven to 225 ºC. Fry the pistolets golden brown according to the instructions on the package. Remove from the oven, but leave the oven on.

Cut the peppers and onion into rings. Heat half of the oil and fry the pepper and onion rings with salt over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the pan and put in a bowl.

Cut the roast beef into strips. Slice the garlic. Heat the rest of the oil in the pan. Bake the garlic 30 sec. and then add the roast beef. Bake on high heat 3 min. Cut the bread rolls and spread the meat, the pepper and onion rings over it.

Put a slice of cheese on each roll. Put the rolls on a baking sheet and put in the oven for 3 minutes. Serve immediately when the cheese has melted. Delicious with a green salad with honey-mustard dressing.
