Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tomato in pieces
- 2 Red pepper in pieces, without seeds
- 1 eggplant in slices
- 2 clove garlic minced meat
- 1 onion peeled, in pieces
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoon white vinegar
- Teaspoon chili powder
- 4 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 onion shredded
- 1 Red pepper minced, without seeds
- 250 gram minced beef
- 250 gram half to half minced

Directions

Start with the ajvar. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and smother the tomato, pepper, eggplant, garlic and onion.

Add the other ingredients and simmer until a thick sauce.

Puree or rub the sauce through a sieve (this can also be done in advance).

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and fry the onion and the red pepper. Scoop this mixture through the minced meat, add salt, pepper and parsley.

Shape balls and press them flat into slices. Fry them in the rest of the olive oil for 3 minutes per side. Serve them with the ajvar.
