Fry the garlic in the oil or butter until it is golden brown. Add the onion and fruit until soft and glassy.

Add the coconut milk, the curry powder and chili powder. Mix everything together well. Add a few sliced carrots and a handful of mushrooms.

Add the chicken pieces or the chopped chicken fillet and season with salt and pepper. Let heat for about 10-15 minutes and stir in the pieces of pepper just before serving.
