Use a sharp knife to cut the top of the bread roll garlic so that the cloves are visible (do not peel). Brush the cut surface and the bread roll around with olive oil.
Put the bread roll garlic in the middle of a piece of aluminum foil and fold the foil around the ball, so that the whole bread is wrapped in rolls.
Place the foil wrapped garlic on the barbecue grill or between the hot coals. Puff the garlic for 20-30 minutes. The bread then rolls along when you squeeze it.
Remove the foil and allow the garlic to cool slightly. Squeeze the bread roll out of a bowl so that the cooked garlic falls into the bowl. You can also roll the toes out of the bread and squeeze out one by one between thumb and index finger.
