Cut the upper narrower part of the pumpkin into 4 slices and peel them. Rub the slices of pumpkin with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and thyme and grill on the barbecue. Brush the rolls with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and grill them on the grill.

Rub the toasted bread with the garlic. Spread a side with mayonnaise and the other side with mustard.

Place a slice of pumpkin on the bottom of the buns. Place a slice of cheese on top and top with the pickles and fried onions. Place the top of the rolls on top and serve immediately.
