A delicious Dutch recipe for radish stew with bacon and nuts.

Cook the potatoes until done. Remove the leaves and the carrots from the radishes and cut into slices.

Heat the butter and smear the radish slices for 5 minutes. Remove them from the pan.

Fry the bacon strips in the same pan until golden brown and crispy. Put the walnuts through.

Drain the potatoes and crush them with salt, pepper and crème fraîche.

Fold the radishes, bacon and nuts through. Sprinkle the stew with the chives.
