Cut the rhubarb into 2 cm pieces. Grate the orange peel of the oranges and press the fruits.

Put the rhubarb, half of the orange zest, the juice, the sugar and the star anise in a pan and bring to a boil.

Cook for 15 minutes on medium heat. Pour through a sieve and collect the juice. Allow the rhubarb and juice to cool.

Meanwhile, whisk the whipped cream with the sugar and mix with the mascarpone.

Break the long fingers in half, spread over the bottom of the glasses and pour the rhubarb juice on top.

Divide the mascarpone mixture and the rhubarb over it, without star anise. Garnish with the rest of the orange zest. Yummy! .
