Rice with almonds and raisins


A nice Indian recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: basmati rice, onions, butter, garam masala (tin 65 g), garnish almonds (bowl 95 g) and white raisins (bag 375 g).

Directions

  1. Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Halve the onions and cut the halves into very thin strips.
  3. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the strips of onion in 10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Stir in the garam masala.
  5. Mix the onions with the rice.
  6. Roast the almonds in a pan with non-stick coating over medium heat in 2 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Chop them coarsely and mix them with the raisins through the rice.
  8. Delicious with the shrimp curry..
