Rocky road with dried fruit and nuts
Snacks of dark chocolate with fig, dried cranberry, apricot stones, hazelnuts and pistachios.
Break the chocolate into small pieces and put in a bowl that fits in a (stalk) pan.
Bring a layer of water to the boil in the saucepan and hang the bowl in it. Make sure the water does not touch the bowl.
Melt the chocolate in this way (au bain-marie).
Meanwhile, cover the brownie shape with baking paper.
Mix together the fig cubes, dried cranberries, apricot stones, hazelnuts and pistachios in a bowl. Mix ⅔ of the mixture through the melted chocolate.
Spoon the chocolate into the brownie shape and smooth it slightly with a spatula.
Sprinkle with the rest of the nut-fruit mixture. Tap the brownie shape on the worktop a few times, so that the mixture drops slightly in the chocolate.
Leave to be covered in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Cut into pieces for serving with a large knife.
