Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil and fry the shallots and garlic.
  2. Add the sugar or honey, salt and pepper and gently simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Divide the brie over the rye bread. Spoon some shallot compote and sprinkle with thyme.
